EXTERIOR PAINTING, STAINING AND STUCCO SERVICES

The following is standard with exterior painting services.

SAMPLES

• We will apply samples of each color to be applied on the project in accordance with our contract prior to commencement of paint application.

• CPR will discuss with customer an area on the exterior where the samples can be applied that can be viewed in different forms of light i.e. sun and shade and coordinated with the roof color and brick if applicable.

• Profession Color Consulting with our Artesian is available upon request at a competitive hourly rate.

PREPARATION

• All surfaces of your home that will be painted or stained will be thoroughly power washed to remove chipped, peeling and blistered paint, dirt and pollution that paint will not adhere to.

• If any loose paint remains it will be removed by scraping and using a wire brush to ensure a stable surface for the paint to adhere to.

• All loose lap siding and trim boards will be nailed down with a spiral type nail.

• All exposed bare wood and wax bleed through will be primed with an alkyd (oil based) primer.

• All voids and finger joints will be caulked with a 55-year Elastomeric caulk. Where the body or trim meets brick, stucco or clad windows a 35-year clear caulk will be used to these areas.

• Wood and stucco repairs or replacement is available upon request at a competitive rate or included when specified on the contract.

APPLICATION OF PRODUCT

• The products used on the body surfaces will be applied with an airless spray pump and trim by hand.

• Painted Surfaces

• The body will receive two undiluted complete coats of Sherwin William’s 25-year Super Paint.

• The trim will receive two undiluted complete coats of Sherwin William’s 25-year Super Paint or One-Coat of Sherwin William’s Lifetime Duration.

• Stucco Surfaces - Will receive two undiluted complete coats of Sto-Elastomeric Coating.

• Stained Surfaces – Will receive two undiluted complete coats of Flood Solid Color, Semi-Transparent or Transparent stain.

• During the coating process, your property, shrubs and flowers will be completely protected.

• Custom Painting & Remodeling, Inc. will apply all coatings to exact manufacturer’s specifications.

CLEAN UP

• Performed daily and upon completion of the job.

• All debris is removed.

• Paint chips removed.

COMMENCEMENT OF WORK

• All empty product containers, paper, and plastic will be removed from the job site.

• The Crew Supervisor will make them selves available for a “wet walk-through” of the property with the Customer on the day of completion during normal working hours. The Crew Supervisor will complete a punch-out list during the walk-through. Any touch-ups will be done prior to leaving the job.

• If touch ups or any paint deficiencies are identified after the crew has left, CPR’s commitment is to return within three business days from time of notification.

• Touch-up paint is labeled and left with the customer.

• A CPR representative will contact you within three business days to perform a customer survey to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
